Avengers Undercover #1

The follow up to the surprisingly awesome Avengers Arena sees 5 of Arcade’s teen Avenger prisoners, damaged by their time on Murder World, infiltrating Baron Zemo’s Masters of Evil with the purpose of taking them down from within.

Captain Marvel #1

Kelly Sue Donnick gets a Marvel now renumbering for her character defining era of Captain Marvel (aka Ms. Marvel (aka Carol Danvers)).

Hawkeye #17

Remember the issue where it was just about Clint’s dog and how awesome it was without dialog but still completely understandable (it is now striking me that it was weird the issue wasn’t in black and white). This issue will be very similar calling itself the “dog issue of sign language issues.

Monster & Madman #1

The very cool horror-noir storyteller Steve Niles shares with us the secret history between Frankenstein’s Monster and Jack the Ripper.

Secret Avengers #1

The Secret Avengers is also getting a renumberin thanks to the Marvel Now movement. This one is written by Ales Kot, who was working for DC on the very similar book, Suicide Squad. Unfortunately, they gave him the boot (or maybe he just left), but his Suicide Squad was so much better than what the book started as. Hopefully, it brings that same quality to Secret Avengers.

Superior Spider-Man #29

After issues of Miguel O’Hara keeping his head down in present day Marvel, he finally suits up as Spider-Man from the year 2099 and getting mixed up in the Green Goblin takeover.
