The Pull List: 3/4/2015

Must read comics

Hawkeye

All New Hawkeye #1

Matt Fraction’s Hawkeye ranks up among the best Marvel has ever produced. Sadly, it could not go on forever though. With this series, Hawkeye is thrown right back into the thick of it along with that other Hawkeye, Kate Bishop. Usually, I’d be skeptical, but with Jeff Lemire taking over (after his incredible Green Arrow series) I am looking forward to it.

Batman

Batman Eternal #48

This month Batman Eternal comes to an end. It has been a mixed bag, but with 52 issues, there has been plenty of time to bounce back from every rough issue.

Jeff Lemire

Descender #1

Jeff Lemire has 2 new books this week. He is teaming up with his Trilium art partner, Dustin Nguyen. It does sound a little like Alex + Ada. It follows the struggle of one young robot’s survival in a world where androids have been outlawed.

Feathers #3

My new favorite book. For those who don’t know, its about a street urchin covered in black feathers acting like Aladdin in a vintage European looking town like the one in The Boxtrolls.

Guardians of the Galaxy

Guardians Team-up #1

After earning (deservedly so) new popularity, expect to see a lot of titles starring the Guardians of the Galaxy. This will be the 4th (when you include The Legendary Star-Lord and Rocket Raccoon).

Hellboy

Hellboy and the BPRD #4

The penultimate issue! Hellboy has been separated by his BPRD comrades (thanks to one BPRD agent who tried to kill Hellboy for being a demon). What more could go wrong on his first mission?

Nailbiter/Hack/Slash One Shot

It’s on! Nailbiter vs Cassie Hack! Serial Killer vs Serial Killer Killer!

Neverboy #1

People have trouble coping with reality take pills. What happens when an imaginary friend takes those pills? He becomes VERY real.

Star Wars

Princess Leia #1

Star Wars at Marvel continues. If I am reading this correctly, it fills in what Leia did between A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back.
