Hello fellow geeks! Welcome to your weekly article on all Blu-Ray/4K Ultra HD/Digital film and television releases. While I won’t be noting everything released for a particular week, I’ll be highlighting some of the more notable ones. I’ll also include a brief description of the film, the main actors/actresses and director, whether or not I’ve seen it, and a Rotten Tomatoes/MetaCritic score for those who like that kind of thing. What It’s About: After Amy (Kunis) finds out her husband is cheating on her with an online girlfriend, she unites with fellow Moms Kiki and Carla to have more fun and take down a stuck up PTA President.

Nine Lives
Director: Barry Sonnenfeld
Starring: Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Garner, Christopher Walken
What It’s About: Workaholic father Tom Brand (Spacey) crosses paths with a mysterious pet store owner named Felix Perkins (Walken) and purchases a cat named Mr. Fuzzypants. When an accident causes him to be trapped inside Mr. Fuzzypants, he must learn the value of–you know what this plot is so ridiculous I’m gonna stop here.

Anthropoid
Director: Sean Ellis
Starring: Cillian Murphy, Jamie Dornan, Toby Jones
What It’s About: The true story of the assassination plot against Reinhard Heydrich, a high-ranking Nazi SS leader during WWII.

Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders
Director: Rick Morales
Starring: Adam West, Burt Ward, Julie Newmar
What It’s About: This animated feature is an extension of the campy 1960s television show. Joker, Riddler, Penguin, and Catwoman, collaborate into hatching a nefarious plot that would endanger Gotham City. It’s up to Batman and Robin to thwart this plot and defeat the villains–even if it means going to space and back.
